Keep Driving, a road trip-themed management RPG with pixel art, claimed the Grand Prize at the DevGAMM Awards. The Swedish studio YCJY Games received a $20,000 cheque for their achievement. The event, open to indie developers and small studios, had a total prize pool of $135,000. 15 games were awarded, including Despelote for narrative excellence, Promise Mascot Agency for the Epic Games Store spotlight, and Rockbeasts for audio quality. Glasshouse won the Developers Choice award, and Misery secured the Community Vote. The DevGAMM Lisbon conference, attended by 1,122 people, featured talks from industry leaders and showcased 80 games. Portugal had the largest attendee proportion (44%), followed by the UK (7%), Poland (5%), and Spain (5%). Around 33% of attendees were women. Preceding the conference was the Madeira Games Summit, a smaller event for industry leaders. GamesIndustry.biz's travel and accommodation for the event were funded by DevGAMM.
